Exhibition’s organisation – first draft
Basically, I thought to develop a retrospective of the photography development through the time, in beginning either with the last technologies( digital camera/phones camera) or the first ones ( camera obscura/photogram). So the audience could in each way discover the progress of the photography and the change of the photographer role and position in the society.
Finally, as the main challenge of my project is to see how far the architecture can be confronted to its exhibition in order to support it, I decided to push that concept further in organising confrontations of photography period, like the camera obscura and the digital era, which are two extremes, or the photogram and the Polaroid period, where both are dealing with projections, the first being on the wall and the second dealing with an instant paper.
So the exhibition do not deal with the time but more about the several processes through the time, which let that way the audience think by itself about the role and the place of the photography in the society.
